Waterfall in Jajce

The Pliva waterfall in the center of the town of Jajce was created 50,000 years ago. Jajce changed throughout history, governments changed, but the waterfall remained the same. Beautiful and proud, it defies time and the many conquerors. It is a symbol of both Jajce and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Below the waterfall, the Pliva river flows into the Vrbas, after which they continue their journey together towards the Sava. The Pliva River makes many of these small cascades, waterfalls, and the last cascade is a waterfall about 20 meters high, which is a symbol of Jajce and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
